Town Meander \u2013 2 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

Learn what it is like to live year round on Skopelos. Join me for a light-hearted chat as I take you for a stroll through the village and tell you about my experiences. On the way we will pop in to visit one of the oldest churches.<\/p>\n

The Retsina Trail \u2013 12km\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leaving from Skopelos Town, we travel through the middle of the island on ancient kalderimi trails once used by retsina collectors. We then make our way up the old kalderimi to the church Ag Reginos, Pirgos. We return to Skopelos Town by municipal bus.<\/p>\n

The Palio Klima\/Ag Ioannis Loop \u2013 5.77km<\/strong><\/p>\n

After meeting in Skopelos town, we drive or take municipal bus 45 minutes to the trail head at Palio Klima. First walking along an old trail, we join a dirt road which leads us into a forest. After about one hour, we arrive at Ag Iannis with it\u2019s 200 steps. Time for refreshments before heading back along a beautiful forest lane.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Coast to Coast \u2013 8 1\/2 km \u2013 4 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

A beautiful walk right off the beaten track to Panormos bay.\u00a0 It takes us through olive groves and along dirt roads and old ways. Opportunity for refreshments and swimming at Panormos before returning by municipal bus. Bring your swimming gear!<\/p>\n

Birds Eye View \u2013 5km \u2013 3 hours<\/strong><\/p>\n

This circular hike takes us to the spring of Ag Marina via Mili hamlet up in the hills. We take a rest at the beautiful spring, where fresh, cool water runs all year round. From there, we make our way across to the monastery of Sotiros where we pay a visit if the monk happens to be in residence and then down one of the new stone paths back to town.<\/p>\n
